This regional centre of Unesco for Latin America and the Caribbean has the aim to collect, create and disseminate information about education in the region. Its objective is to assist governments in developing methods and concepts of education indicators - therefore it empowers national statistical offices. The homepage provides links to descriptions of the various projects (Education for All, regional educational policy, development if regional indicators), publications, forums of interchange and an electronic bulletin.
