TVTC is the national Saudi-Arabian board for supervision and coordination of technical education, vocational and continuing training. On its homepage the institution describes its tasks which comprise coordination and control in the following areas: technical education and vocational training, private technical education and training, community service and continuing training, in service training, national system for joint training (NSJT), coordination with the labour market. Statistical reports provide information on the development of numbers of students and personnel at different technical and vocational training institutions.
