The National Rectors Council (CONARE) is commissioned with the coordination and planning of higher education policy in Costa Rica - four tertiary institutions are the members of the body - they can be found on the homepage which provides information about structure and activities of the Council, its legal bases and various special programs, e.g. civic education, sustainable development or ecological education.
