This association has as objective the information, coordination and cooperation of distance study institutions in Latin America. The following fields are concerned: research, training of professors, promotion of the use of new technologies in distance study, development of instructional material, promotion of and participation in evaluation, quality assurance and certification of distance study programs. The homepage provides a presentation of the AIESAD, the directory of members, regulations for inscription, congress announcements, an information bulletin and a link list of Latin American universities
