The National Education Monitoring Project (NEMP at the University Otago) is contracted by the NZ Ministry of Education to give a broad picture of the achievements of representative samples of New Zealand school students at successive points in time. Purpose of NEMP is to get a broad picture of the achievements of representative samples of New Zealand school students at successive points in time. Monitoring started in 1995. The site is dedicated to provide teachers with information about NZ students in years 4 and 8 in a variety of knowledge areas. Access to assessment and other reports, to maps, graphs and stats.
