NBI is an information centre and document archive for literature for children and young people. It is also a specialist library. As of 2002 NBI' s collection numbers 58.000 volumes. The collection is computerized. From the database book lists are being compiled which will be available on request. Much of the collection is available for loan. Broad range of links to related organisations in the nordic countries.
