ITU is an unit, which is a part of the Faculty of Education at the University of Oslo. It is part of the education ministry's measures to strengthen R & D in the pedagogical use of ICT in education. The network co-ordinates research through interdisciplinary co-operation and network building. From 1 January 2010 ITU is a part of the National Centre for ICT in Education, under the Norwegian Ministry of Education and Research.
