The ECC supports the independent centres of the Early Childhood Sector in New Zealand by providing services and benefits, fostering a high quality early childhood service. Through this web site the ECC provides up to date information on issues relevant to its members, including matters related to legislation and regulation, industrial relations, training, events, funding and curriculum. The information is also relevant to other persons in the wider community who have an interest in early childhood issues, including parents and government agencies. There are rubrics for "library" and "links" and a section for the "HypertECC Members".
