This site has been developed as a result of two cross-border projects: The Citizenship Development Programme and the Human Rights, Conflict and Dialogue, involving partnerships of the Irish and Northern Irish Education Boards, funded by the European Programme for Peace and Reconciliation. Teachers visiting the site for the first time might find it useful to visit the Citizenship section on Whole School and Classroom Climate to consider approaches tha t can be used in establishing a suitable climate for this sort of work. By selecting one of the sections above, a menu list appears and teachers can download either pdf or word documents for their own use.
