NPC is the nationwide organisation of parents of primary school children. More than 900 parent associations are members of NPC, recognised by the government as the organisation that represents the parents of children in primary schools. NPC negotiates with the Minister and Department of Education for improvements in the education system and better resources for primary education. Petitions can be found on the website. Also free access to the quarterly newsletter ' Newsbrief' , to annual reports and press releases. Books can be ordered against a fee. Overview of services and trainings for parents as well as county news are available. Links to Irish educational institutions.
