SURFnet is the national computer network for higher education and research in the Netherlands. SURFnet connects the networks of universities, colleges, research centres, academic hospitals and scientific libraries to one another and to other networks in Europe and the rest of the world. On the website information on the organisation SURF, seminars and innovative projects can be obtained as well as information on servies for the higher education and research institutions. SURFnet News, the online newsletters, appears weekly free of charge. Publications are partly available in English as html or pdf files for download. A search engine links to Dutch directories and archives e.g. for education.
