In 1999, a working group under the Ministry of Business and Industry, the Ministry of Research, the Ministry of Education Learning Lab Denmark recommended that Learning Lab Denmark be established in order to conduct research on knowledge and learning in the transition to the knowledge society. Learning Lab Denmark focuses on 'action research' in method. Research consortias are built to work in the following fields: Math & Science; The Creative Alliance; Play and Learning; Workplace Learning; Neuroscience Cognition and Learning; E-learning and Education. Communication-wise its task is to engage the public in an on-going dialogue on learning at all levels of society. Links to all research field are provided and information is kept bilingual (Danish/English). Bilateral reserach projects as well as Danish only are presented.
