The European Union initiative FEAST aimed at enhancing research collaboration with Australia was launched in 2000. FEAST aims to highlight existing multilateral and bilateral science and technology cooperation between Europe and Australia. It is a practical initiative with an ongoing electronic forum. The website provides information about registration and partnering, FEAST events and online ressources (e.g. information about financial assistance and funding opportunities, information about European-Australian cooperation, a list of online links about research in Australia and Europe, points of contact in universities, research centres and administrations). Only limited information is available for non-registered users.
