"The NFER is Britain´s leading educational research body. Its mission is to gather, analyse and disseminate research-based information in order to improve education and training. The Foundation maintains a large research programme, comprising over 100 projects at any given time. The major part of this programme is concerned with the public education system - early years, primary, secondary and further education - and covers the full range of topics from curriculum, pedagogy and assessment through organisation, management and professional development to resourcing, support structures and the environment within which education is provided". The site contains information on all research projects, lists of publications, and research findings.
