PLUTO is a pedagogical project which aims to support teacher education in the field of basic informatics education and telematics. It was set up on the initiative of a Working Group of the ATEE ( Association for Teacher Education in Europe) in 1986. In the framework of this project the PLUTO Educational Network was established to provide a platform for selected higher education institutions and schools of 18 countries in Europe. In Germany the national node is located at the Faculty of Informatics of Oldenburg University. Via the "Oldenburg node" this website provides access to information on the European Network.
