This is the website of the Volgograd State Pedagogical University, one of the major pedagogical Universities in the Russian Federation. It provides comprehensive information about the structure of this complex of institutions and the various activities in higher education and educational research. The University comprises 9 faculties: Mathematics, Physics, Philology, History, Foreign Languages, Natural Sciences and Geography, Engineering and Pedagogics, Vital Activity Safety and Physical Culture, School Pedagogics (Primary School Teaching Methods and Pre-School Education). The University structure includes the Institute of Qualification Improvement, the Volgograd Pedagogical College, as well as a pedagogical lyceum for boys, a gymnasium, a computing centre, a library, a publishing department.
