"Acting on a mandate issued by the Swiss Federal Government, the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) supports research undertaken inside and outside universities and fosters young scientific talent. (...) The project data base contains all current projects supported by the Swiss National Science Foundation. This data base is updated twice-yearly. (end of May and November). It lists some 3500 research projects in all disciplines."
