The European Experts' Network for Educational Technology (EENet) provides on its website general information on the education system in Austria and about the implementation of ICT policies in this country ( initiatives, programmes, projects, infrastructure, funding, teacher education and training, content development, evaluation and research etc.) The site is available in an English and a German version. - EENet is an independent association consisting of institutions and organisations from 13 different European countries, the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Culture is responsible for the Austrian part. The network has been founded in January 1997 for the purpose of promoting ICT.
