The Danish Research and Development Centre for Adult Education aims to support innovation and development within adult and general education ( "folkeoplysning"). The work of DRDC is directed towards all sectors that deal with adult education and "folkeoplysning" such as associations, local communities, housing areas and educational establishments. The DRDC is a private and permanent foundation established in 1984 as a result of a decision made by the Danish Parliament.- According to website information main activities are: documentation, counselling, research and international cooperation.
