The site is a channel intended to facilitate exchanges, partnerships and collaborations between the institutions of African countries, Unesco and other partners. Since 1961, UNESCO has organized seven conferences of Ministers of Education. Conference papers are offered for download as pdf-files [this URL is the one of the 8th conference]. Other features are: a list of addresses of African Education Ministries and Ministers, information texts about the Intergovernmental Committee and Secretariat of MINEDAF and an Intersectoral Task Force. Furthermore, there are links to some (Africa- related) institutions and activities.
