For the time being this website is only offered in the official language of the country. But short information on the aims and tasks of the Institute in English (www.etf.eu.int/no.by/#RIPO) and French (www. unevoc.de/ directory/ centres/ bye.htm) is available at other sites. The Republican Institute of Vocational Education (RIPO) was founded in December 1992 after the acquisition of State sovereignty of the Republic of Belarus. RIPO is located within the structure of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus. It consists of 3 science-methodological centres, 8 departments in the Faculty of Improvement of Skills. There is also a model centre for economic education, created with support of the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany. Altogether more than 200 employees work in this institute.
