The National Women's Education Center (NWEC) was established to contribute to the promotion of women's education as an institution for social education. These are its main tasks: Conducting of study and training programmes; National and international exchange programmes; Surveys and research seminars on women's and family education; Construction of databases on Japanese and foreign materials/ information for study and research on women and the family.
