The International Study Association on Teacher Thinking - ISATT has recently changed its name to the International Study Association on Teachers and Teaching, to reflect the broadened nature of the research and interests of its growing membership. It was founded in October 1983 at a symposium for research on teacher thinking at Tilburg University, the Netherlands. The purpose of ISATT is to promote, present, discuss and disseminate: research on teachers, teaching and teacher education contribute to theory formation in this field.- This website provides information on current happenings, conferences and publications and gives more details on the purpose of ISATT.
