ALECSO is a specialized Arab organization, established by the League of Arab States. Its primary responsibility is the promotion and co-ordination of educational, cultural and scientific activities at the regional and national levels in the Arab world. It helps to evolve and implement new approaches and strategies of educational, cultural and scientific development that are commensurate with the Arab realities, needs and priorities.- This website provides information on the objectives and the structure of the organization.
