The Electronic Traning Village has been initiated by the European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training ( CEDEFOP) using the latest available technology to bring the most up- to-date information in the field of vocational education and training in Europe. The Electronic Training Village facilitates the flow of information amongst and between policy makers, researchers and practitioners in vocational education and training throughout Europe and beyond. Its aim is to stimulate communication, interaction and debate on the development of vocational training policy, practice and research.- Via this homepage residents of the Village have access to the latest CEDEFOP and other publications on training issues and are able to read and download many of CEDEFOP's publications. At the News Agent visitors can find information about ' electronic conferences' and 'chats' between training experts on key issues, and information on how to participate. !!" Users are required to register. Registration is free ... and is only used to serve better the needs of the users."
