The Council's mission is to help people gain understanding, acquire knowledge and develop skills for living in a globally interdependent and culturally diverse world. Council is one of the largest international education organizations in the world with almost 800 professionals and support staff working in more than 30 countries. This website offers information on travel, international exchanges and International Study Programmes. The main focus lies on the United States. The link "Study abroad" leads to the websites of the study centres of the Council in many countries which provide information about academic programs, course choices and terms, application, scholarships etc.
