Chinese Education and Society offers unabridged translations of articles from Chinese journals, newspapers, and collections of articles published in book form. The aim of the journal is to present the more important Chinese studies in this field in the light of the interest of those who are professionally concerned with it. Sources used are: Jiaoyu yanjiu (Education Research), Renmin jiaoyu (People's Education), Zhongguo jiaoyu bao (Chinese Education News), as well as other national and local newspapers and magazines. The articles in this journal are listed in Current Contents: Social and Behavioral Sciences, and are indexed by the Current Index to Journals in Education, Wilson Education Index, and World Translations Index. The journal's website offers only tables of content but as far back as to Vol. 29, 1996, No. 3.
