OEI is an international organization of the Ibero-American countries which promotes the co-operation in the fields of education, science and culture and has a "governmental" character. Its aim is to advance an integrated development of the region in these matters. The website offers (see "que es la OEI?") information about the organizational structure, implemented activities and programmes, support programmes for the member states concerning activities of the educational administration and technical co-operation, Internet-services. Other links are: projects in educational policy, publications, conferences, information (including link lists) about education and science in the member states.
