The HKIER develops, supports, and coordinates long-term multi- displinary research programmes. Each of these programmes consists of a number of research projects conducted by researchers of The Chinese University of Hong Kong and other tertiary institutions. Several ongoing policy-related research projects, supported by various funds from the Hong Kong Research Grants Council, have provided a solid foundation for policy research. Programmes of this kind will continue to be developed, making a strong impact on educational policy in Hong Kong and in the South China regions. The homepage offers an overview on research programmes, training programmes, development projects and consulting projects.
