Censorship is so 1984! This slogan, inspired by Orwell's dystopian novel about totalitarianism, surveillance and propaganda, is the motto of this year's Banned Books Week in the United States. The organisers say it is a warning about what is currently happening in many parts of the country, especially in schools, which are affected by book bans.
