Open Data: the French Ministry of National Education, Higher Education and Research opens its data with OpenDataSoft
"The French Ministry of National Education, Higher Education and Research has launched the first French ministerial Open Data portal. Geneviève Fioraso, Junior Minister in charge of Higher Education and Research, has introduced the platform on April 24th during the Paris Conference about Open Data and Open Government. (...)
More than 2.5 million data records have already been published on data.enseignementsup-recherche.gouv.fr, as shown on infographics designed by the Ministry, and every dataset can be exported to open formats (CSV, JSON, APIs…) for easier data sharing and reuse. Datasets are also automatically uploaded on the French national public Open Data platform." [Abstract: OpenDataSoft 24.04.14]
