The Colombian Ministry of National Education presents two educational reports: a kind of shorter interim report that goes from around the summer of one year to the summer of the next year; and a longer report, which then covers a full year from January to December. The Ministry thus "addresses the background, key advances and achievements of the current period in accordance with its powers relating to the formulation and monitoring of policies and objectives for the development of the education sector."
