Four ISEC conferences could be identified on the net. You can find the links in our detailed abstract (click on [more]: 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015). The respective websites sometimes give fulltexts of the presentations, sometimes only the programm and abstracts. But this provides you with a good overview over topics that were considered important in the field of special education, as well as on how these topics evolved over the years.
The conference takes place every 5 years. 2010 was declared as the 7th ISEC. The conferences of 200 to 2010 took place in the UK. The ISEC 2015 is to be taking place in Lisbon, Portugal. The following institutions organise the event: University of Lisbon, the national Portuguese Association of special education teachers "Pró - Inclusão Associação Nacional de Docentes de Educação Especial" and nasen, according to their own website the "leading organisation in the UK for special needs information".
