The French High Council of Education (Haut Conseil de l'Éducation) is a consultative institution for the French educational system and it is composed of representatives of the important institutions of the French educational system. Founded due to the demand of the French ministry of education (Ministre de l’Éducation nationale, de l’Enseignement supérieur et de la Recherche), the Council's purpose is to articulate recommendations, propositions and programmes for the field of pedagogics and to gather and present results and experiences concerning the important issues of the whole educational system.
