The Peruvian Institute of Evaluation, Accreditation and Certification of the Quality of Basic Education (IPEBA) is a public, autonomous institution which is part of the National Evaluation, Accreditation and Certification System of Quality Education (SINEACE). Its main task is to guarantee the quality and permanent improvement of pulic and private colleges and technical education centres to be able to adequately accredit the service they offer. Furthermore, IPEBA fosters the competences of persons which execute their work in accordance with the demands of the labour market. The work of IPEBA promotes the large participation on a debate which includes all actors of the education sector to give them the opportunity to present their points of view and to attain an agreement which fulfills th needs of the society.
