Cameroon

The objectives of the Ministry of Youth are the improvement of the quality of youth training which will necessitate for instance the launching of the MCYE (Multipurpose Centres for Youth Empowerment) development plan, development and rehabilitation of socio-educative infrastructure, development of a national policy on leisure activities, continuation of training of staff and staff capacity building; furthermore, the increasement of youth participation in the management of the State through the effective setting up of the National Youth Council, the National Youth Plan and the National Civic Service for Participation in Development ; and the promotion of citizenship education and education to ethical values through the development, popularization and implementation of a national system of reference.
