The aim of the National Agency for the Development of University Research (ANDRU) is the support of the development and the valorization of research programs which integrate themselves in the "Programmes Nationaux de Recherche" (PNR). These programs are carried out in university education and research institutions. The tasks of the agency are accordingly the development of research programs an the supervizion of the application, the further financial support of promising research programs as well as the establishment of a monitoring and evaluation system in those programs.Furthermore, the agency provides for the distribution and valorization of the research results and deals with the technical and financial needs for equipment etc. of the scientific documentation which is essential for the programs.
