Austria
Insight, the web base for information and communication technologiy (ICT) at schools, provides access to several country reports (full texts, summaries). This report on the situation of ICT in Austria outlines responsibilities and tasks regarding the development of curricula, school reforms and educational policy-making in Austria, as well as the actual implementation of ICT related teaching at different school levels. It addresses issues regarding the provision of teaching resources, lesson planning, assessment of ICT competencies (ie.g. by means of standardised tests, such as the European Computer Driving Licence), evaluation of teaching processes. The document, which is regularly updated, includes links to pertinent web resources and references.
