This website is provided by English speaking parents residing in Japan. It aims at collecting all information about raising and educating children in Japan parents who are new to the country may need. Numerous links lead to babysitting, nursery institutions and schools. There is a focus on the education of children with special needs. This particular section of the site lists links to parent support groups, evaluation and therapy institutions, special education institutions and distance programmes. It also provides an alphabetical index to English speaking counsellors. Since the development of the site largely depends on the participation of its users, it offers contact forms and explicitly asks parents for contributions.
