The main purpose of the Network is to collect and disseminate information on current and developing theory and practice in the assessment, improvement and maintenance of quality in higher education. The Network should a. o. facilitate research in the effectiveness of quality management, assist the development of new quality assurance agencies and facilitate links between accrediting bodies; improve international recognition of qualifications and enhance the mobility of students between institutions within and across national borders.
