Journal of Interactive Media in Education (JIME) - english information
United Kingdom
This interactive journal serves a a discussion forum for researchers and practitioners in the field of interactive media and education. "JIME is not simply making the conventional media of paper-based articles available on the Net, but addressing the interactive dimensions which are the essence of the new media; JIME is not simply adding an e- mail listserver to allow peripheral discussion about published articles, but developing a journal review environment in which submitted articles and open peer review are tightly integrated with each other, and central to the journal's operation...All JIME articles are integrated with a structured web discussion space. Reviewers and authors debate a submission, after which open peer review is invited. An edited version of this discussion is preserved with the final publication, providing a forum for subsequent commentary and links to related material". The journal is Open Access.
