The general mission of this organization is to promote higher education as a basic prerequisite of the enhancement of social, scientific and technological progress and to disseminate knowledge into the society. The web site provides information about the corporation itself, a study program in "asentamientos humanos", publications (among them the journal "Estudios Sociales") and the work of three centres: the Centre for Community and Regional Development, for Research in Higher Education and for the Development of Jurisdiction.
