Qualifax is published by the Institute of Guidance Counsellors (IGC) and is available on the web and on CD. High-speed, searchable database of over 3,500 full time courses covering all Higher Education Institutions in all of Ireland (degree, diploma, certificate, PLC's). For each course, the following information is provided: 1. basic entry requirements, 2. detailed document file, 3. institution details (contact information, services provided, open days etc. ) 4. fees and grants. Searches can be performed using a combination of the following search criteria: keyword, course title, institution, qualification, points, course code, career area and location. The information area provides a special section with information on higher education in European countries.
