The aim of this website is to provide information about: the Leaving Certificate Applied Programme in general; latest developments in the programme; current issues for teachers / tutors and schools /centres; forthcoming activities that might be of interest to teachers. The LCA is a distinct, self-contained two-year programme aimed at preparing students for adult and working life. The LCA support service supports schools and centres involved in the Programme. The Support Service is jointly managed by the Curriculum Development Centre, Shannon and the Curriculum Development Unit, Dublin.
