ECA is a non-government organisation acting in the interests of young children aged 0-8 years of age. It develops and advocates policies on early childhood education and care. ECA also acts as the national umbrella organisation for children's services. The homepage provides information on ECA, its activities and policies, on its publications and Early Childhood Conferences. The site also provides access to the sample articles of recent issues of the Journal of Early Childhood, the quarterly Every Child magazine, and the Research in Practice Series.
