Am 06. November 2018 fanden in den USA die sogenannten "midterm"-Wahlen (Zwischenwahlen) statt. Bei diesen Wahlen wurde der US-Kongress, bestehend aus Repräsentatenhaus und Senat, neu gewählt. Auch viele US-Gouverneure und die Parlamente der meisten Bundesstaaten standen zur Wahl.
