National strategies, curriculum

Full text of the document as rtf-file. The White Paper focuses on children from birth to six years. Its aim is to support the development and educational achievement of children through high quality early education, with a particular focus on the disadvantaged and children with special needs.

Im Rahmen des ´´Partnership 2000´´ Programmes wurde in Irland die ExpertInnengruppe ´´The Expert Working Group´´ gegründet. Sie sollte eine Strategie entwickeln, die die unterschiedlichen bisherigen Angebote der Kinderbetreuung und vorschulischen Erziehung integrierend zusammenfügt. Der vorliegende Bericht stellt diese Strategie vor.


Auf dieser Seite werden rechtliche Regelungen zur Kindertagebetreuung sowie zur vorschulischen Bildung und Erziehung in Irland vorgestellt (auf englisch). Zugang zu zentralen Dokumenten, z.B. Child Care Act (1991) sowie Child Care Pre-School Services, Regulations 1996 and (Amendment) 1997 sowie zu weiteren rechtlichen Regelungen.
