Dozens of mainland Chinese and foreign students studying in Hong Kong have left the city as Hong Kong universities suspended classes in the wake of major battles on campuses between students and police. A number of Asian and Western governments have urged their students to leave Hong Kong university campuses amid fears that universities will be a new battleground of protests that are now in their sixth month and have become more acute in recent weeks.
