National curriculum

The National Curriculum Guidelines on Early Childhood Education and Care in Finland was published in September of 2003. It will serve as a basis for local – municipal – curricula and for the curricula implemented in the day-care centres and other forms of ECEC, such as family day care. This English translation of the document was published in 2004.
