GESIS as infrastructure institute for social sciences supports research the social sciences and consults researchers in methodological questions. Further, GESIS develops and supplies databases with information on social science literature and research activities, the institute archives and provides survey data from social research. Services are • Consultation of researchers • Acquisition, processing, and documentation of social science data, literature, and research information, as well as their provision and long-term storage • Preparation of national and international studies for secondary analysis, including standardisation and harmonisation • Social monitoring on the national, international comparative and historical levels. GESIS is member of the Leibniz Association. Head office is Mannheim.
